From the beginning until I left today EVERYONE was exceptionally attentive, kind, and positive!!!! I've been in the healthcare field for quite awhile and it's very difficult to find a big number of workers that can exemplify what Burke Health has. My cousin and I agreed that no matter what hospital we were near, we want to go to Burke Health... No matter the illness, take us to Burke Health. Had a schedule visit here on September 30th 2026.  Even with the construction going on the entire visit was top of the line. My previous hospital visits has only been in Aiken, SC and this trip to Burke put Aiken to the bottom of any list. All employees we spoke to and watched were very professional and seemed to actually be happy to be at work.   Questions were answered; We were treated like the only person in the hospital.  Even with a little pain from the operation, the trip to Burke was a true pleasure.  It was good to see so many people smiling while working. Dr. Pope did wrist surgery on my broken hand. And I was extremely impressed with the whole experience from the beginning to the end. Staff were awesome. I would recommend this hospital to anybody. I'm not going to lie 12 years ago. I would have told everybody not to go here but after yesterday I have completely did a 180 and changed my perspective on the hospital. In fact, I was so impressed. I had a total hip replacement 2 days ago and it was amazing. Everyone and I mean everyone was awesome. I don’t remember a lot of names but Tina and Gwen and Denise were awesome. There were more but I can’t remember. The hospital administrator even stopped in to see if he could do anything and wanted to see if our stay was good. If I ever have another orthopedic need I will drive the extra 1 1/2 hours to get there, it’s well worth the time.

I cam in from NC and took my brother for back surgery and he stayed two nights. Love the new facility and know they are still under construction. The waiting room had an area to received muffins, snacks and beverages. It was so cool. Ate in the cafeteria and the food was delicious.
The staff was super as they communicated and checked on you if they saw you had been waiting for a longer period. Kudos to Ms Kandy as she was so kind and helpful.
