Dr. Mohammad Zaidi earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through Stony Brook University. He has cared for patients in hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and Veterans Affairs medical centers, with a clinical focus on spine care, musculoskeletal medicine, and non-surgical pain management.
Dr. Zaidi believes that the body has a remarkable capacity to heal when given the right environment and support. His approach begins with identifying and treating the underlying cause of pain whenever possible, while recognizing that pain itself can sometimes become an obstacle to recovery. In those situations, medications, rehabilitation, and image-guided spinal and musculoskeletal procedures can serve as important tools to reduce pain, restore movement, and allow the body’s natural healing processes to take over. He works closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their goals, helping them return to work, family, recreation, and the activities that give their lives meaning.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Zaidi enjoys lifelong learning, fitness, and staying current with advances in rehabilitation and interventional spine and pain medicine. He is committed to continually refining his skills so he can provide patients with thoughtful, evidence-based care that emphasizes both long-term function and quality of life.
